Question
Do black holes eventually die? And if so, what is the most likely nature of its death throes? Or would it simply fizzle-out?

Answer
Hi Jasper,
This question has been asked me a number of times.
Actually no one actually knows for sure and this topic is still in the realm of theory.
The only decay of the black hole occurs via hawking radiation, and that too if the hole has a spin.
It decays so slowly that it is said the life of the universe may not be sufficient for the end to come by that route.
But truly speaking i have not kept breast of the latest on this topic, and new things come up almost every day.
