Question
Hi could you tell me what the galactic neighborhood for the constellation microscopium is? thanks

Answer
Hi Liz,
I tried to find that out for you on the web.
here are some links..
1 - http://www.astro.uiuc.edu/~kaler/sow/mic-p.html
It is a southern constellation and is to the south of sagittarius, and neasr the southern crown corona austrina.
Nearby constellations are Indus, the Indian, Pavo, the Peacok, or Grus, the Crane. Capricornus, the Goat, is high as the bright star Fomalhaut, of Piscis Austrinus, the Southern Fish, is low on the horizon.
Cannot help you more on this rather obscure constellation.
