Question
I have a question I have to understand how to answer for an online class, several other questions are based on the same information.  There is a picture of a line on the left side there is a tick mark with the label 5h. On the right side is a tick mark with the label 4h.  One-third of the way from the 5h tick mark is another tick mark.  It looks something like this
5h____!____________4h  The question is what is the value of right ascension where the (!) is located?  RA:____h_____m  Thank you

Answer
Hi,
Colleen this is a good example of a cryptic question! :)
I must say I am beginning to understand what champollion felt when he deciphered the heiroglyphic script! :)
going by definitions and considering 5h as sidereal time 5h:00m, 4h to be 4h:00m, then 1/3 way from 5th tick and 2/3 away from 4th tick would represent seidereal time 4h:40 mins.
Sorry this is all i can do.
I am no champollion if i am wrong.
