Question
Hi Jay:
How do you explain the speed of light slowing down in a different medium, such as glass?

Answer
Hi,
frankly i had never given that one anythought, but presumed it to be so "since we are told thus"!
My limitation not yours..
So i have surfed and found out what i believe to be a plausible answer from an "undergraduate"..but as i always say..so what!
here is the link..
