Question
I am a 10th grade student at New Bern High School in North Carolina. I am doing a milestone project on the constellations Pegasus, Orion, Draco and Hercules. I plan to discus the mythology of each constellation. I however would like to focus on the stars that make up each constellation's. I am researching there age, origin, size, and type. As well as the point at which they are in there life cycles. It would be very helpful to me if you could send any information to me at srossi@esisnet.com as well as any opinions you have on there mythology. I will of course be sure to give you full credit for your input by citing any information I use that I received from you .I would need to receive any information as soon as possilbe so I will have time to properly prepare my project. Thanks alot for your help

Answer
Hi Emily:

I might make a suggestion here.  It is the job of planetariums to develope working relationships with nearby schools.  Since I run a Planetarium in New York State, it would serve you better to contact one of the many planetariums in North Carolina.

I would start with:

Kelly Space Voyager Planetarium in Charlotte 704-337-6271

James H. Lynn Planetarium in Gastonia 704 866-6903

Edward R. Zane Planetarium in Greensboro 336-288-3769

They can probably help you a little bit more than I can by possibly giving you some materials first hand.
