Question
Hello mr W is this true i found on the internet, ??

1/3 OF THE EARTHS POPULATION WILL BE GONE IN A TWINKLING OF AN EYE.
HOW?
WHEN THIS CELESTIAL BODY PASSES...IT WILL PULL DOWN OUR MAGNETIC FIELD.
THE PLANET WILL SHIFT 28 TO 42 DEGREES
THE POLES WILL MELT IN DAYS GIVING RISE TO MASSIVE CLIMATE CHANGES FROM THE FRESH WATER MIXING WITH SALT WATER.

Answer
Hello,

What you referenced on the net shows a mish mash of assorted speculations - none of which has been verified, or confirmed. Worse, the site (web site, blog?) seems to have either mixed up or assembled a morass of different hypothetical "trhreats" - for whatever reasons.

It is true that there are *real threats* to the planet, namely global warming. But this ridiculous nonsense concerning a "celestial body that will pull down Earth's magnetic field" is totally without any foundation.

It is truly tragic that the net is filled with so much vacuous blather, misinformation and twaddle when there are genuine REAL threats out there that much more command people's attention and concern.
