Question
how many stars appears in our sky?

Answer
Hi Amal,

In any one night, we could see about 6000 stars with the naked eye.  But there are about 100 billion stars in our galaxy, many of which are just too faint or hidden behind dust for us to see.  There are also countless galaxies (they at least number in the billions), each one containing billions of stars.  So the total number of stars is really more than one can count!
