Question
Me and my recent girlfriend are both atheist. I didnt ever wonder this before, because I recently transition into atheism, but how do atheist couples get married? or is there like no marriage in atheism? anything you can answer will help, thanks!

Answer
You an just get married by a local Justice of the Peace or, if you want a more elaborate ceremony, you can write your own vows, write up your own ceremony, then have a Humanist celebrant lead it. You can also have a trusted friend get an online ordination so they can become approved by the state to officiate at marriages and they can lead your ceremony.
