Atheism/God

QuestionQUESTION: Do you hate Christians?
How can you be 100% sure that there is no God, if you are a finite person?
ANSWER: Unlike fundamentalist I don't profile people based on their thoughts, no I don't hate Christians or Jews or Muslims or Gays or Republicans or talk show hosts. Hatred, alienation, and persecution of indifference, nonconformity, ideas, and thought is a religious invention. I fully support personal and private spirituality but I condone profiteering of fantasies enforced by fear and threats, especially upon children, the elderly, the poor and the sick. Christian are good people when they aren't killing abortion doctors, ridiculing others for not thinking the same, or thanking a god who gives them food while starving children die. I hate religious organizations who weaken the people into ignorance, submission, and mind control, punishing outsiders to hell for having thoughts not approved by tyrants. A priest is a fraudulent showboat beggar who uses fear to reap profits for an organization that rewards him/her for it on the back of a promise they never have to deliver. It's a business, a fraudulent one at that.
I am 100% sure that the gods of men are made up by men and don't exist as we have imagined it. I am 100% sure their is no intelligent creator, unlike a god, who can read our thoughts and intervene in our actions. I am 99% sure their is no intelligent creator at all. I am 100% sure that something logical and rational caused our existence for which their is no need or care for worship or fear. Only a god made by man could be so little and childish as to care about being worshiped and would punish those who don't. How can I be sure theres no god of man? It is the burden of the claimer to show evidence of a claim, for which in the case of gods none have been produced. I make no claim that there is no god, I make claim there is no evidence to support wasting time, energy, and resources on things that can't be proven at all. As for being finite, that's the nature of the Universe, naturally.

QUESTION: Why is it wrong to thank God for food? Do you ever thank people for giving you things?
I'm sorry, but there's no way you can be 100% sure that there is no intelligent Creator. You've had a bad experience in religion, and so you assume that they're all false, and that there is no God. But that's hardly scientific.
AnswerIt's wrong to thank a deity whom one assumes is looking out for you but seems to ignore the plight of others. It's wrong because it makes one an elitist, better and more deserving than others. It's wrong because you give credit where credit is undeserving. And yes I thank people for their generosity, they exist and I observe or have proof of the deed and the originator. And no, I wouldn't thank a murderer for feeding me.
I have NOT had any bad experiences in religion or anything else for that matter, I've had a relatively good life. As a happy adjusted person I see no need for making up imaginary friends to hold me back from murder or to hold my hand when times are tough. What can church or religious faith do for me that I can't do for myself or through others?
I'm now assuming you're religious considering your argumentative stance on the matter. Why don't we argue about the existence of Big Foot or UFO's? Waste of time eh? So are deities, ghost, goblins, gods, and Unicorns. You would really make foul with another person over something that can't be settled until after death? And you can't see what's wrong with religion? My friend, that makes you at odds with humanity and nature. You might as well argue with others that you saw a flying pink elephant. Be there a god or not, religion causes people to butt heads and start wars. I'm sure you feel angry, frustrated, and threatened by me. You probably already assume I'll go to hell, condemning me as if I was a bad person no matter what good I may have done. If you ran a commune I would be ousted, tarred and feathered, jailed, alienated, or even put to death as if I was a threat, yes it happens.
You are my brother in our species and I love you. I pray to the nymph goddesses of the forest trees that your reasoning powers will some day overcome this spell of delusion put upon you as a child. I hope you will grow up one day and toss aside childish ideas and fantasies to see the reality and majesty of nature and the Universe. I hope that you will join the human race in it's endeavors to find the truth instead of trying to enforce made up answers. I pray too that your sanity be saved for the sake of true happiness and personal freedom. A dismal existence is that which is limiting where no limits exist. Get out of the hole and open your eyes, it's great out here! Happiness abounds for me and others like me where we really really really appreciate how wonderful it is to be human and unlimited by man made shackles. Feel the air, smell nature, see the stars, its all good, so so good, FREEDOM!!! I AM HUMAN!!!
Please don't respond, I'm finished here. I refuse to waste precious time butting heads over a silly and unfortunately wasteful human invention. I would rather be in the company of those who cherish coexistence and happiness over ancient ideas and barbaric costumes. Your view and your existence is small and limited, shaped by men and not by nature. The fact that you claim something to be true for which cannot be proven so makes you untrustworthy and capable of lying (another bad thing about religion). Seriously man, evolution gave you a brain, use it.
