Atheism/about God

Question
Hello,

For Universe origin, theists often solve the infinite regress of cause by postulating a temporal God (contrary to Kalam argument where He is timeless) who is everlasting and beginnningless, and thus uncaused.
But such properties attributed to God aren't problematic?

Others argued that in supposing such permanent God, living for an infinite amount of time, we thus assume He is infinite, so He would be infinite in intelligence and potentiallity,
but are they ambiguisation and non-sequitur?

Answer
"But such properties attributed to God aren't problematic?"

Yes, because you can just as easily apply them to the universe; indeed, that's just what cosmologists are doing.

"...but are they ambiguisation and non-sequitur?"

They are ambiguous and there is no empirical reason for using them - no evidence that there exists any thing or being with such qualities.
