Question
i have a short question! what do i become after confirmation?

Answer
Aliyah,

Are you talking about a church confirmation?  For example, when I was in 9th grade, I went through some classes and became "confirmed" into the Methodist Church in my hometown.

If that's what you're referring to, then the answer is that it depends on which church it is.  In my church, it was basically a formal statement of us children (who honestly didn't know any better) saying we believed and accepted the tenets of the church and were now, I guess, full members.  In other faiths (Catholic vs. Protestant, for example), it carries somewhat different meanings.  My best friend at the time was Catholic, and his confirmation was a few years later, and in the Catholic Church, it's considered one of the holy sacraments, a much bigger deal than in my church.

Of course, in the long run, it's nothing more than a ceremony.  You yourself do not "become" anything more than you were before, except perhaps in an official view of the church.

Certainly, my confirmation didn't prevent me - two short years later - from concluding that religion was a bunch of made-up stuff for which I no longer had any tolerance.

Hope that answers your question.
