Atheism/Disbelief in God

Question
Why doesn't an atheist believe in God

Answer
Hello Donna,
Although I can not speak for everyone, most Atheists do not believe in God because they have chosen to live their life based on scientific knowledge, reason, and facts. Personnally, when I was growing up I believed in both creationism and evolution. As I got older I had to make a choice, when I really sat down and thought it over it was clear to me where the truth lay. Since that point my path has not only been a clear one but an easy one. I have seen the light, so to speak.

I can answer just about any question that you may have about Atheism itself, dealing with being an Atheist in a religous world, or theological, religion based questions concerning atheism.

Experience

I became an Atheist at the age of 15 and have remained so for the past 21 years. At that time I was the only Atheist that I had ever met so I spent the next several years researching most types of religion as well as the concept itself. I am not here to convert or argue, but just to help you find the path that is right for you.
