Atheism/Moral standard

Question
What moral standard do atheists use to make decisions? Is it just "what's good for me at this moment in time?"

Answer
Since atheism is in no way a belief system, ideology, or religion, there is no single moral standard or ethical system common to all atheists. Atheists who are Buddhists, humanists, objectivists, Raelians, communists, libertarians, conservatives, liberals, Jews, Taoists, etc. will end up using a variety of standards, systems, and ideas when it comes to making moral decisions. I have never, however, encountered an atheist who makes moral decision on the basis of "what's good for me at this moment in time."
