Question
An interesting point of view that allows one to keep his/her options open. However, somewhere along the line, one must certainly take roots, if only to avoid self-contradiction, don't you think?

With all due respect, your specialty should not be under "atheism", maybe you should contact the webmaster to relocate your specialty more accurately.

Thank you very much. But then I really do not fit under any ism. I had written somewhere in an exalted mood: "Man is capable of having the last laugh. Beyond good and evil, beyond the notions of materialism/spiritualism, divine/undivine lies his fulfillment. A master is one who is neither an atheist, nor yet a theist but he himself...

Answer
We begin with roots in something/somebody else but end up being, so to say, complete unto ourselves. That is how our evolution works.

When we have roots in something/somebody else we take directions for our actions from that something/somebody. But when we have become complete unto ourselves we act spontaneously, we flow with the flow. We live in the Now. This is man's final destiny.

Something like, we begin our life having our roots in our father or mother and act according to their said or unsaid commands and councils. But eventually we end up being father or mother ourselves. And act as the situation demands rather than as our father or mother would have desired. It is the same case above only on a far greater scale. It happens with people who have experienced "God" in the Oneness of all nature and then know that thenceforth they would act spontaneously as per the demand of the situation and not as per the conscious or subconscious directions of anything/anybody outside of nature.

Thanks again.

Harb.

I can answer all questions about God, spirituality, even the spirituality of an atheist, about existence in general, about why there is suffering, about why there are two opposite aspects of life like love and hate, pain and pleasure at all levels in life etc etc. I have experienced that God is One like the top of a mountain is One and all disciplines of knowledge inclusing science, philosophy not to talk of mysticism take us to that same One though through different routes and all can eventually take us there as all finally coalesce there. Then there is only One, scientists call it by one name, philosophers by an other and mystics by still an other. So I can answer questions on all aspects of the Game of Life.
