hi im just curious and im conducting some research, why is it in modern times that there is an increase in secularist religions such as atheism, agnosticism and humanism? (as aposed to the main religions such  as christianity, islam, busdism, ect.)

Just as we evolve from childhood to youth to middle age and so on, similarly our culture (and here our AD culture) too evolves. And just as we concieve our earthly father differently in all the above phases of our lives, similarly, we concieve our 'heavenly father' so to say, which really is what is a rligion all about, differently in our different evolving cultural phases.

In our cultural childhood we see our heavenly father or 'God' as our main religions tell us, later we see him as our other religions tell us. Rather we formulate the religions according to the phases we are in.
