i had no clue where to put this but my gf is talking about reincarnation, me im atheist and dont believe in it...but does that mean she has a diffrent religion cause im not sure
Some atheists believe in reincarnation, especially Buddhist atheists. Atheism means disbelief in gods, not necessarily rejection of religion or every non-god aspects of religions. Most atheists in the West, though, do reject reincarnation because all scientific evidence points to the fact that memories and personality are entirely based on the physical brain. So, when it dies, what 'you' are also dies. If anything "reincarnates," it's not you.
