Question
You sound like  your a guy with some brains.
Anyway my question for you is:

WHERE DO WE GO WHEN WE DIE?

And some random thoughts for you to comment on.

I thought I was a christain but just recently  realized i'm not.
I don't have enough of that "faith" thing to call myself one.   So then it seems that I'm not anything. But its sorta a sad and lonely feeling to be left with, having no God with 6 major religions and a few other practices  to pick from but  still don't feel anything for them, feeling completely left out of it. It sorta sucks. See any religion comes in handy and makes it more special for weddings, births, and  the biggie, when you die and I want my share of the party but which party?

Big universe out there?
Who do you think made it?

Answer
Obviously, I don't think we "go" anywhere when we die, because "we" cease to exist.  But given an option, I think maybe I'd like to go to Hawaii.

I don't think anyone made the universe.  The idea of a creator isn't any help, because then logically you must ask "where'd the creator come from?"  And so on, ad infinitum.

Those who insist that the creator didn't HAVE to come from anywhere are creating an additional step... because if the creator didn't need to come from anywhere, neither did the big ol' universe.  And of the two... a complex universe, or a MORE complex creator... I'd say it's much more likely that the less complex universe "just happened."

As for the parties...  hey... create your own.  You get to control the guest list, and choose which beer to serve.
