" My question regards prophecy in literature. In most religious texts prophecies are vague. However, a friend was showing me in the bible prophecies that are cuttingly specific.
I was wondering how you explain the prophecies in the bible that were fulfilled? Are any of the documents actually old enough to verify them?

I am unsure which prophecies are you talking about, so I'm afraid that you'll have to be a little more specific. I've seen several but certainly nothing that I would even remotely call "cuttingly specific."

P.S. While your looking up the exact prophecies please find the passages that talk about dinosaurs, the ice age, cavemen, comet impacts, or basically anything about the hundreds of millions of years that preceded mankind.
