Atheism/why?

Question
Why don't Atheists believe in God? How do they believe everything came into existence?

Answer
Jon:

Not all atheists think alike, so there's no simple answer to your question.  Their reasons may vary considerably.

For example, one atheist may choose not to believe in god because there simply isn't enough evidence to support the idea.  Another might disbelieve because he/she finds the very concept too silly for words.

One may believe the universe came about entirely through natural methods, such as the big bang.  Another might simply say, "I have no idea how it came about, and I'm okay with that, because it doesn't really matter."

I'm sure you'd agree that not everyone believes in god for exactly the same reasons, nor believes life on earth came about in exactly the same fashion.  Atheists are no different.
