QuestionGood day,
I dont know if i suffer from ADD but i am 32 and tend to be absent minded. I usually live in my own world of thoughts and imagination. Many times i tend to be fogetful. At work i used to misfile things, leave out numbers on check deposits. On application forms i would sometimes fill in the wrong thing and then realize it 2 minutes later.
Is this ADD and if it is what can i do to be more attentiveness instead of being absentminded and unattentive.
Answerhi
thanks for the question
however i am not a medical expert i am an addult who is diagnosed with ADHD also have a grown up diagnosed son!
the best thing i can actually suggest is that you check out my main website at
http://www.adders.org and then check out the information section where there is a lot of information available which i am sure will give you some helpful tips and ideas
also we have busy forum boards which you might like to join in particular the addult board where a number of addults post on a regular basis - some are diagnosed and others suspect that they have ADHD but are not formally diagnosed so to speak and between all of them they regularly come up with some really useful tips for others that may have worked for themselves
we also have an ask the expert board where questions can be posted to a qualified doctor with many years of experiance in diagnosing and treating both addults and children
hope this helps
take care
