Hi Sarah-Jayne,

I am a seventeen year old high school senior. A friend of mine started a tutoring program for younger children, and I agreed to tutor a seven year old boy who has been diagnosed with ADD. I've never dealt with this before, and it's so challenging! He absolutely doesn't listen to me, and runs around the library disturbing other people. I cannot control him, and definitely can't make him focus on schoolwork for any amount of time. Any pointers/tips you can give me to help make him focus/listen to me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

thanks for the question however as i am not qualified to teach i am afraid i really cant give this the proper type of answer as maybe someone else would be able to

i can however suggest that you check out my main site at www.adders.org where in the information section there is an education section where there are some information sheets with tip for those teaching our children which may help
