QuestionHi, i was just wondering if you could help me, my son is 2 and a half years old now and i have always noticed since the age of one or just after there has been ''something different'' about him, he is constantly on the go, he has lack of concentration he can not focus one one activity for more than 2 or 3 minutes sometimes i wonder where he gets the energy from, he will not sit down for long or if he is watching telly he will never want to sit in the same place, he seems to be naughty and make a mess or throw things at me an people an not listen when you tell him not to he will only stop when he is bored of what he is doing... he never seems to listen when i tell him off or tell him not to do whatever it is he is doing. He bites for no reason other than he is angry he can be a very loving child always likes a kiss an a cuddle although that cuddle is only for a short time less than a min it seems he cant keep still his nursery described him as a flitter as he is always flitting from one activity to the next yesterday he went into a fit he was biting me scratching me pulling my hair pinching and scratching my hair it was as if he was possessed it lasted for half an hour and it wasn't as if anything triggered it he just all of a sudden got angry as he was doing it he was making a weird screeching noise as i happened to be lay down at the time all as moments before he myself and my friend were playing on the bed all i could do was push him away from me but he kept throwing himself back on he scratching pinching biting pulling my hair and screeching and when my friend tried to pick him up he turned on her so i was just wondering with his lack of concentration an his mood swings an his hyperactivity would you say there was a slight chance he had ADHD??
