QuestionMy daughter of 7 years old has been diagnosed with ADHD. She is easily distracted, avoids tasks that requires mental effort. When we do homework she would fidgets with feet or squirms in seat. While you reading for her, she will distract you. I need to know what will be the best supplement. She is taking Biostrath & Omega 3. This is affecting her learning, school is complaining. What could I give her to see better result and quicker result.
AnswerAs I have not examined your daughter I can only comment from afar!I never use the products you are giving her as in my experience they do not work for ADHD. If she has been evaluated and assessed by a medical expert and the ADHD is severe enough to cause problems the way to go is a titrated monitored trial on a stimulant medication using rating scales from parent and teacher. The response time is about 10 days. As the condition is a serious condition we do not advise suppliments but rather formal allopathic medication strictly monitored.
