I have been taking Ritalin for 30 years everyday. I have been told to go to rehab because by a social worker because this drug is only meant to be used until the end of school. I feel psycologically addicted. I do not abuse them. Thw social worker told me my dopamine neurotransmitters are now so badly damaged that any bad side effect or strange reaction might occur. Would you agree with this diagnosis doctor. I feel terrible and feel I am a junkie. Thank you so much

I have no proof that you have been on for 30 years but I do have proof of the ignorance of the social worker. She is talking utter nonsense! I also have no proof that you needed or still need medication but her comment about stopping at school leaving is absolutely incorrect. If you need advice please consult with an expert medical doctor and not an ignorant social worker.
