Question
Why does my doctor insist I stay on Ritalin when I tell him they are making me ill. I told him I have developed horrible medical condtions after taking them for so many years. I go for a second opinion and the next doctor says the same thing. Is this malpractice? I cannot believe after helping me for so many years Ritalin does this.

Answer
If you ask a doctor, accept what he says, otherwise do not ask him!Ritalin has no long term side effects. That does not mean you cannot develope another condition causing your symptoms. Some people are on Ritalin for life! What if you do not even needc Ritalin?
