QuestionMy daughter has just been diagnosed with both ASD and ADHD, my biggest concern with her is that we live very close to the river thames and she doesn't seem to understand the danger of the mud, i have tried explaining to her that if she gets stuck in the mud and no-one is around then she will keep sinking, i quite often worry when she goes out and my head is often in my hands, please help me try to make her understand the danger?
AnswerIt is impossible to give any advice with so little information. How old is she? Is he on any medication? If so exactly when and what doses does she take? Is she in a main stream or special Ed school? What is her approximate IQ? Have you been instructed and educated by the treating doctor about what to expect from the condition .You have to reach them to teach them. Is she able to listen and comprehend. With more inflormation I might be able to help!
