Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)/depresion

Question
Hello, I'm a college student with ADHD, I was wondering if it's true that depression is known to co-exist with ADHD?

Answer
Yes, unfortunately depression does sometimes co-exist with ADHD, especially at times when things are tough going.  Having ADHD doesn't mean that you will always have some difficulty with depression, but we think the difference in brain chemistry for ADHD might be similar to that of depression.

Hang in there, once you are in the work world some of the characteristics of ADHD can be beneficial.

Take care...
