Question
Long term use of Ritalin has caused a terrible problem for me doctor. I have been diagnosed with a tumour and skin peels. It also overstimulates my brain too much that I have to take tranquilizers. Why did such a good drug prove to be unsafe in my case? and why is it so addictive. I feel like robot needing tranquilers to stop the high. I do NOT abuse them.Do you care to answer me?

Answer
There are no long term side effects to the correct use of Ritalin nor is it addictive. It cannot cause a tumor. It never overstimulates the brain. If overdosed you become over inhibited and zombified. Tranquilzers are  contra-indicated for ADHD , they make ADHD worse and may become addictive. Ritalin is never unsafe. You should see a medical expert to solve your problems. There has to be other factors and you should stop blaming Ritalin.
