Dear Dr I take 50 mg Ritalin per day everyday. I would just like to know how long it takess for the drug to come out of ones sytem completely. I am a little concerned about my liver because I wake up each moring with a foggy head and it lasts all day. I also get ver nausious.

50mg a day is the total dose but you have not given any detail as to how you take it. Short acting Ritalin only has an effect for 4 hours and out of the system on the same day. It does not affect the liver. Foggy in the morning has nothing to do with medication because yester days medication fades by the time you go to bed.
