Question
My 12 years old is ADHD and Autism. My son was on Adderal for about two years. For three months he was off meds. Three weeks ago, he was prescribed ABILIFY by his pediatrician. He is acting wierd now. He is not the same as when he was taken Adderall.Now it seems he is out in space. Sometimes he seems to look like he is druggy,walks like with a stiff neck, sleepy eyes, does not have entushiam to do things. Any feed back in ABILIFY in other children for this treatment?

I think I am going to ask more questions than give answers.If he was on Aderall what doses and how was it monitored. Next, why was it stopped? Abilify is used for Bipolar and Schizophrenia. What is your sons diagnosis? His current state is to a degree caused by the Abilify it would seen. How severe is the Autism, if indeed he has Autism?
