Question
Hi,
I'm 17 yrs old and I was wondering if I could have add and aspergers syndrome also. I've been diagnosed with aspegers syndrome 6 years ago during middle school because of communication issues.  But I've always had problems with being easyily distracted in class, organization issues, and I'm slow at completing school work and home work, and  I'm always losing stuff. I've always had these issues  since elementary school and my teachers in 3rd grade thought I had adhd. But I was tested and I was found not to have it.                               Thanks,
                                         Jessica

Answer
Hi, If you had ADHD then, there is a  very good possibility you still have it now. What you describe suggests ADD and not realy Aspergers. I would suggest you make an appointment to see an expert in ADHD for an opinon regarding diagnosis and possible treatment. Good luck!
