DR. Levin,

thanks for taking my question.

i'd like to find out if i have Attention Deficit Disorder.

1)can you tell me what kind of doctor i need to see and

2) i can be 'forgetfull' at times. is this one of the symptoms?

Answer
Is is very simple. If you think you might have ADD, see your usual medical practitioner and ask his opinion. If he feels it is warrented ,he will refer you to a specialist if he cannot do the evaluation himself. Either way you will have an answer. Being forgetful can be,  but not neccesary part of the ADHD syndrome. If you are worried, check it!
