Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)/Helping My ADHD Pre-Teen

Question
My son, 11, and his mother have been trying to cope with his ADHD since first grade.  He has reached the age where he does not want to be reminded about things.  He is in love with anything electronic, so I wondered if there was something like a kids PDA that could be used to help him stay organized?  He's pretty careless with his things, so it would have to be somewhat indestructible.  Are you aware of any tools that might be useful to us.
Thank you in advance,
Maury Radin

Answer
Dear Maury,

Thanks for asking me your question.

I suggest you look into something called the Watchminder2 or the Tickle box.  I'm not sure if the tickle box is still being made, but the watchminder is one I have used in the past and am getting ready to by the updated Watchminder2 for myself.

You can look each up online.

Good luck with your search.  If you do find something else that you find helpful (I like to stay abreast of technological support), please let me know.

Sincerely,

Christine
