Question
Which of the stimulant medications do you find most effective for an adult diagnosed with severe ADHD.  I am currently taking Aderall; but recently found out that it is rarely used to treat an adult, which is probably why it doesn't work for me very well.

Answer
All the stimulants including Aderall usually work very well and no real difference between child and  adult. The most important aspect is the size of the dose and the duration of treatment during the day.The dose must be big enough, cover at least 12hours of the day and 7 days a week. What dose are you taking and how are you taking it?
