Question
Hello. I understand you can not make a diagnosis but I wanted to ask a simple question so I can do a bit of research and consult my son's doctor. I have asked a few people this same question. My son is 10 years old and is having some behavioral issues as well as some psychological issues. He has been diagnosed with ADHD as well as another underlying problem we are yet to solve. My question is, what other illnesses or diseases exist that could mock ADHD. I have been doing some looking into bipolar disorder and have found similarities however my son is not depressed (in the sad type of way). I look foreward to your reply.
Thank you kindly.

Answer
There are no conditions that can "mock" ADHD. When an expert examines a child and completes hie evaluationn he is sure. Are you are referring to the co morbids ,like ODD, Conduct Disorder O.C.D and depression(uni or bi". What is the other condition your son has?
