Question
A 7 year old boy with some reading difficultlies administered qeeg - theta-beta ratio 6.33 with eyes open for ten minutes.  Frontal beta -.27. with eyes closed for 10 minutes.  What does this mean?  Thank you

From a diagnostic point of view when evaluating a reading problem an EEG has no value.Why was it done in the first placed. Is there a history of Epilepsy.THe only significant finding with an EEG is some increase in thata waves'to suggest a Neurological Immaturity.I very rarely request and EEG and I nam not an expert in evaluating them.
