Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)/side effects

Question
Is there any connections between ADHD and sleep disorders if you only have 4 ADHD symptomes and a mild case of OCD (obsessive compulsive dissorder) ?

Answer
ADHD is like pregnancy, you either are or are not ADHD. The so called DSMiv has really no merrit! Although there is obviously more than one cause for insomnia, ADHD is one of the major causes. I would venture to say if you think you have mild OCD, it is probably part of your ADHD problem and not really OCD. ADHD has a tendency to be impulsive, hasty and obsessive. You have posed a theoretical question. I have assumed you are referring to yourself. The heading "side effects" usually refer to medical treatment. You have not even mentioned treatment, but one of the side effects of medical treatment for ADHD, with stimulants may also be insomnia.
