How to Attract the Man of Your Dreams/Did I attract him?

Question
Hi,

Before I knew about LOA I was in a not-so-good relationship and trying to work it out.  I thought about what the perfect guy would be like (even before this relationship).  Then one day while still with my ex, I met this guy.  It completely blew my mind, he was just like the guy I "envisioned".  I mean, exactly!  I have never been that attracted to any guy like I am him...physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually.

I broke up with my ex after finally realizing that he would never change and I just needed to move on.  After that, I thought a bunch of negative stuff like the guy I like probably has a g/f by now...etc.  I haven't seen him in a very long time, somebody told me he moved.

Now that I know about the LOA, did I attract him and then later reverse that by my negative thoughts?

Now I am only thinking positive and feel very good about it but haven't met any guy I like yet...they'd have to be as good as him or better (if that's possible). :)

Thanks,
Allie

Answer
Hi Allie.

Once you set your intention of having a soul mate, and that intention is not fear or need based, your soul mate is bound to show up.  There's no need to fear that you pushed him away by thinking that he has a girlfriend.  The fact of the matter is this: If he's the one, he'll show up again because the timing will be right.  You won't be in a relationship and neither will he.  As a side note, most of us can look back at a point in our life to someone we wonder about.  That is to say, we wonder about what could have been.  But that "could have been' could have also caused us great pain just as well--and in that sense, the person would have only been a stepping stone to the 'Real McCoy."  Because you're growing and learning about the power of attraction you're already ahead of the game.  Just remember that want is better than need.  If you set your intention on the fact that you 'need' a man in your life, desperation will set in and you'll get yourself in trouble.  I somehow get the sense that you're on your way to something special.
