Question
I am a single 23 year old young woman that has had only one long relationship. Now that I am on the dating scene I am clueless to the dos and donts! Where should I start socializing to attract guys? I recently joined the gym...but I'm usually in the kickboxing classes, which mostly women attend. Should I be strolling over to the ab crunch machine just for men to notice me?? There's a great guy at my job that I am attracted to....however, I might have made the wrong moves by contacting him first....we were supposed to hang out this weekend and he texted me to reschedule for a Thursday evening. What should I do in this situation???? Can this be fixed?? And finally, exactly how do I find a guy to date???

Hey Marie congrats on getting back on the scene. In my book "How to Attract the Person of Your Dreams and Keep Them!" I explain it in Secret# 12 Where to Meet the Person of Your Dreams. Most people meet out of proximity. Meaning they meet someone at work, through a friend, gym, etc. This is fine but limits you and makes you feel like you cant do any better at times. So I recommend getting out there and living your life. Join some clubs or groups. Join activity groups in your area. I know they have a site called meetup.com where you can find everything from book clubs to runners groups in your area. Go to your local benefit events. Make sure to join the things you enjoy. If you enjoy theater then find some theater groups online that meet local to you. This is a great way to find someone local with the same interests. Also I believe craigslist.com has meetup groups too. Just make sure to be careful and use your better judgment when meeting up with groups online obviously. Bring a friend or only meet during the day in public areas etc. As far as the guy from work, don’t read too much into what is actions are saying. Men are usually very straight forward. If he rescheduled to Thursday then he might have just forgot he already planned something. So make a list of thing and groups you could join. This will be a great start. But most of all, don’t forget to have fun Marie and wear a smile!
