Expert: Susan Dunn, Dating Coach - 3/31/2008

Ok here it goes have read several of the questions placed on your message board and need help!
Summary: I meet a man about 5 years ago (opps he is my boss) (i was 22 at the time) at first I did not care for him in any way. As time progressed I began to see this man as a different person I assume bcause I was growing up and becoming older. I know he was interested in me he even ask me, would I ever consider going out with him, I smartly answered at the time, "No way"! Opps! Time moved on, I went on vacation and realized that I really liked him. When I came back I swiitched to another shift just to get away from him, becasue I was scared. It has now been 2 years and the feelings have not diminished, unfortunetly he is now married. Opps again! I am now back on his shift and am stuck. Problem 2! I had some issues with being touched. I had an issue in my past I thought this had been resolved, apparently not. Yesterday morning a few of us on the shift together were joking and playing around and he leaned over me and touched me. This I enjoyed. Am not sure but I think he did as well, it made him nervous he looked a little pale when he looked back at me, Opps again! Also I have never kissed anyone, hugged, (no sex) etc... please help! I do not know what to do with this problem... I am aware that this is wrong I was brought up with better morality than this! My parents would freak if they even knew of my feelings for him. Please give me some suggestions on what to do! Thanks in advance!!

It is simply not smart to get involved with a married man.  Or when he's your boss, for that matter.  I would suggest you not get into that habit.  Train yourself to want men who are available, and who are interested in you, for your own sake.  Be a smart girl!
