QUESTION: hi theres a boy i speak to on msn and he goes to my old high school hes 17 and I'm 14 i really like him but i don't know if he likes me he keeps calling me chick and puts lots of kisses but i think hes just being friendly do you have any tips on how to find out if he likes me and how to drop hints that i like him please because i really like him hes my best mates cousin too and i haven't told her yet because she will just go and tell him but thanks
ANSWER: I think he knows you like him. He would probably ask you out of something if he wanted you for a girlfriend. Maybe he isn't ready, or maybe it's something else. You could tell if he liked you for a girlfriend if he actually asked you out.

Well, I'm always saying to let the guy take the lead and do all the work.
There's no way to drop a hint about asking you out or leaving you alone. That's rather direct. There's also no way to really hint that you like him ...
You could back off and see what happens. I think if he wants to teach you rugby he sure wants to spend time with you and that could work out well.
The important thing is that you want to know that he likes you and wants to take you out, so you have to wait and see. Consider what would happen if you say "I like you and would like to date you." Then he says "yes" or asks you out. How are you going to feel? Are you really going to "believe" that he does.
If he's continued this far, and with the rugby, there's a good chance he does like you, so be patient and wait and see.
