Subject: how to attract a man i don't often meet

Question
QUESTION: i have a crush on my father's doctor. i have no chance to oftenly meet him. i only call him when i have a question about my father's case.
Recently i felt that maybe he is 30% interested in my.
Mt question is: How do I attract him.

thank you in advance for your advice.

shourouk

ANSWER: Best thing you can do is be friendly on the phone.  Maybe inquire about him personally, like "How is your day going?"
Very tricky situation for a doctor ... however, they are aggressive, and if he is attracted to you, will make a move.  Very tricky though you understand.

It is also easy to misinterpret a doctor's attentions.

QUESTION: Dear Susan,
I forgot to tell you that we are both single parents. Please advise how to be friendly over the phone, and also how he can play tricky and how do I misinterpret a doctor's attentions.

thanks alot for your great help.

shourouk

ANSWER: How not to misinterpret?  Well, when we women are interested, we read something into everything.  Best advice is not to read into into anything.  Don't fantasize and don't get emotionally invested unless you get clear signs from the man.  In this case, I would say you have not gotten a CLEAR sign (30%).

Friendly over the phone?  WEll I don't know how you conduct the phone calls, but lets say instead of, Hello, this is XX, XX's daughter, and he starts in with a report, start with

Hello.  How are you doing today?  Did you find a camp for the kids?

Something personal.  He can take it up, or leave it, but it creates a space for a more personal relationship.

Doctors are professional and have a way of being 'nice,' that can be misinterpreted as personal interest.  Look for some sort of 'shift' in the normal flow of things, that's all I can say.

I recommend never being the aggressor with a man.  You might get a date, but you won't get what you want.  Always better when the man takes the lead and does the work.  This makes you a "lady in waiting," which is frustrating.  But if you jump traces, you will get something you don't want.

All the best,

QUESTION: Hi Susan,
My mother invited him to our place yesterday to check on dad, and i did all what you advised me to do.
by the way, if i talk about a CLEAR sign, i'd say that it's 0%.
now, do you think it's a good idea that i wait for him to act (do anything), i'm afraid cause i think he's smart enough to know that i like him.

thanking you alot for being of great help.

Answer
If he is interested, he will do something.  That's the way men are.  He's in a tricky situation, being the professional, so if he is interested, it will take him some time to figure it out.  If you're gut says "0%" you are probably right ..  I'm sorry, but it has to be mutual.  We've all gone through this.

All the best
