Question
My ex and i broke up because his father did not want him to marry me because i am a different religion and nationality.
Now we are thinking of getting back together - how can i get him to marry me without his fathers influence?

Answer
I'm sorry to say this, but he would have to grow up.  A mature man makes his own decisions, especially about something as important as marriage.  The person you marry is the single most important decision in life you will ever make as far as your happiness is concerned.  You might even tell him that.  How old is he?  Does he intend to let his father continue making his life decisions??
