Okay. There is this guy I have a huge crush on. We text all the time and I have even gone out really late to meet him on the corner of my street. He gave me my first real kiss and we are real good friends. We haven't been together and I really want us to be together. The first time I told him how I felt about him, he told me I am an amazing person and that he isn't sure as to what he wants at the time. He said not now. So after that we stopped talking for about a month. Then I had text him one day and we got to talking again. We talked for about two weeks and I told him how I felt about him again and asked him to be my boyfriend. He told me the same thing, but he said he likes a different girl. (he acts like he likes me. He tells me I am amazing and beautiful. This isn't helping me stop liking him.) So I asked him if we could just forget that I asked him that and he agreed. Now we are really good friends and talking all the time. Should I tell him how I feel just one more time or will it ruin our friendship? NOTE: He treats me like I am his girlfriend. He tells me all these things that make me fall even harder for him. Help?

Dear Britanny,

It sounds like this guy has things just the way he wants them ... and you do not.  And that's not a good situation.  You need to make up what your mind about what you want, and then ask for it, and then stick with the answer you get, i.e., you wanted him for a boyfriend, he said "friend," you conceded, and now you are back to the same place.  He's getting what he wants, and you are not getting what you want.
