i was with this boy for a bit when i stupidly let him go, i still like him and he still likes me (i think) but he won't ask me out in fear i'll let him go again, what shall i do?

If you dumped him, then it's you that has to put this back together.

Frankie, relationships are fragile things. If you don't take care of them when you have them they'll simply go away. Worse yet, if you try to play them (or the guy you're interested in) it'll never happen and you'll just wind up with a bunch of enemies - not great love affairs.

This is a good example! Here you are waiting for HIM to make a move. That's just dumb! YOU dumped him! It's YOUR job not to either swallow your pride and get this fixed by proving to him why you know it was a mistake and why he needs to believe that you won't do it again, or watch as some other girl comes along and just scoops him out from under you.
