Expert: Dr. Dennis W. Neder - 12/14/2010

Hi! :D First off, I just want to say thanks so much for taking the time to read this and volunteer to be an expert on this website =)  Now for my situation… So, there’s this guy. Let’s call him Laken. Anyways, Laken and I met in class(we have two classes together.) We’ve studied together and stuff but I’ve never really flirted or anything just because I never wanted anything awkward to happen. We have two classes together next sem too! :D I’m pumped. I love being around him. Last night we studied though and I think I may have messed up. We were both basically bored and were talking and stuff and somehow we started talking about past relationships. At the time I thought it was cool that our friendship had progressed so much that we could open up to each other but now I feel like I put myself more in the friend zone than anything by talking about my past guys and listening about his past girl. I was hoping to come back after Christmas break and look better than I did(I’m not ugly, at all), thinking maybe he’d start seeing me in another way. What do you think I should do?

What do I think you should about what? Do I think you should come back after Christmas and look better? Yes, I think you should.

As to things happening here, they're obviously going nowhere if you just continue to do what you're doing now. If there's a chance of seeing him during break, I'd take it. Suggest that you and he get together and go do something fun.
