How to Attract the Man of Your Dreams/He knows...what to do now

Question
I like this guy. Let's call him mr x. So I'm in year 11, and last year at our year 10 formal, I started noticing mr x. We weren't too close at that time, and so we didn't see eachother throughout the holidays, apart from
once on my way to work, I saw him and he winked at me and my heart skipped a couple of beats. This is when I realized I had a small thing for him.

School came around and he would smile and wink at me. I have got 2 classes with him, so I have at least one class with him each day.

He is very sweet, caring and handsome

so anyways my friend went up to mr x one day and asked him if he liked anyone. He said "yes, but they're not from this school, can I ask why?" so my friend said cause I know someone that likes you, he said "would you mind me asking who?" she said she would tell him if he guessed ( I was cool with this). So he said be would think about it.

2 days later, my friend asked him if he'd thought about it. He said no because he has one person on his mind.

But then I don't know why he would want to know who it was who liked him, and why he would say he would think about it if he was thinking about the other girl.

But walking between classes, he would walk with me and we'd crap away like there's no tomorrow. And in the classes we have together, we would muck around with eachother, for example he would throw a piece of scrap paper at me, and I'd stick tape on his pencil case.   He would also tell me this other wierd guy in my class likes me, so we'd have a laugh about that.

So the other day my friend told me she went up to him and just said my name, and he understood what she meant, and he repeated my name (*sigh*) and he smiled nervously, but happily and thanked her. So I've had 2 lessons with him since then and nothings happened :( but this could just be because he comes into class late. But I don't know.

I want him to ask me out. He acts like he likes me, but nothings happening

How could I get him to like me? I do act myself around him, but it's not working :( please help

Answer
Dear Caitlyn,

I'm sorry to say it's a sad fact of life that you can't "make" a guy be interested in you if he isn't.  One that that can squealch it for SURE, is to ask him our, or pursue.  All you can do is what you are doing.  Be yourself, friendly, not pushy; don't pursue; wait and see if he asks you out.

I hope he does!

All the best,
