There is a guy i like, and I'm positive he likes me too, but the last couple of times I've tried chatting him up, he seems cold and distant to me, and now I just dont want to talk to him, because I feel like I'm bothering him.

Does this mean he's not interested anymore? I really want to ask him out, but now I'm intimidated by him.

Chelsea, it doesn't sound too good to me.  When it's a good relationship, you don't feel like you're "bothering" someone, and they aren't cold and distant!  If, as you say, you just don't want to talk to him, why would you want to go out with him??  I'm just repeating back what you have written to me.  There's a reason why you feel intimidated ...
Stick with guys who make it clear you're welcome!!
