Question
Why do men think woman just want to get married, have kids and control them soon as she becomes honest about her feeling?

I have dedicated my life to my carreer, I am very successful and independant, now 41, never married and longing for a partner in life.  All I did was tell him that I was crazy about him and had fallen for him.  What I really meant by that is: I would put all my inibitions aside and have sex with him because I really liked him, but i couldn't say that!  Why can't men have opens minds about woman needing sex too?

He responded by saying, we were moving too fast!  What does that mean?  Does he think I want to marry him?  Men are babies

Answer
what you said was entirely different in meaning than what you hoped to express; most men would certainly be more than happy  to accomodate your sexual requests, provided they understand your offer is THAT and not something involving emotional dependency;  his response meant at this point he doesn't feel involved enough to want you to be..
