Question
I have a guy friend in whih I searched for for 6 years and found we've become intimate since January, I first asked in February to become serious he said he wasn't ready to be ina relatioship, and I asked him again recently and he says no time soon? Is it me? How can I get him to see I'm a great catch? I truly care for this person and it's easier said the done when tryiing to let him go?

Answer
There is something wrong with a man who is intimitate with you an then says he is not ready to be in a relationship.  There is no question YOU are a great catch, but HE is not.  It is hard to let go once you have become intimate with a man.  It does not work the same way with a man.  So next time, ask the question first -- does he want a relationship.  Or better yet, let him show you that he does my treating you well.  With a man, look at their actions, not as much what they say.  For your own sake start the letting go process and learn from this sad experience.
